- U.S. Ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas- Greenfield announced $60 million in humanitarian funding on July 23 and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced $45 million on September 5 to support food, protection, shelter, and WASH assistance in Haiti.
- The UN-approved MSS Mission arrived in Haiti on June 25 amid elevated OCG hostilities which have displaced at least 578,000 people countrywide as of June.
- Approximately 8.3 million people, nearly 70 percent of the population, faced insufficient food consumption in May and June; ongoing insecurity and high food prices are expected to generate high levels of food insecurity in the coming months.
