Haiti: Armed attacks and displacements in the Metropolitan Area of Port-au-Prince - Situation Report #14 (1 - 7 February 2025)

CONTEXT

• The Metropolitan Area of Port-au-Prince (ZMPAP) remains the epicenter of violence and displacement in the country. Humanitarian actors remain on the ground and continue to respond to the urgent needs of vulnerable children, women, and men.
• Violent attacks in Kenscoff on 27 and 28 January displaced 3,139 people (632 households). Of that total, 66% found refuge with host families, while 34% are in four spontaneous sites. Despite security challenges, the humanitarian response is ongoing to provide emergency assistance to affected populations.
