HUMANITARIAN CONTEXT
- Between August and September 2024, violent floods devastated several prefectures in Guinea, including Conakry, Coyah, Kankan, Siguiri, Mandiana and Kouroussa, as well as other areas such as Dubreka, Forecariah, Télimélé, Yomou and Kissidougou. These disasters inflicted considerable damage on local populations and infrastructure.
- On 24 September 2024, the Agence Nationale de Gestion des Urgences et des Catastrophes Humanitaires (ANGUCH) published the results of assessments carried out by its regional, prefectoral and communal teams.
