HIGHLIGHTS
Flow Monitoring Operations are ongoing at the border posts and the collection of data and migrant sensitization is being carried out.
Rehabilitation works of 9 PEOCs have been completed. A handing over ceremony was held in Forecariah (in lower Guinea) and Macenta (Forest Area).
Official authorization received from OFDA/USAID to commence rehabilitation works and provide logistics support to 2 new PEOCs identified by the National Coordination Unit (Suguiri and Kouroussa).
OVERVIEW
Over 3,429 people have been infected with Ebola in Guinea since the outbreak started in March 2014. By 22 March, 2015, a total of 2,263 people have been reported dead as a result of the EVD.
Statistics of migrant movement at the Guinea/Mali border in Kouremali, Nafadji and Niany for the period of February 13 to 22 March 20 15 totals 6,590 men and 4,247 women.
