BISSAU, Guinea-Bissau (PANA) - Health
workers Monday started a 72-hour strike in Bissau hospitals to demand payment
of 13 monthS of salary arrears and other benefits.
According workers spokesman, Francisco
Mendes, the strike is expected to end Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the country's teachers continued on Monday an industrial action which started a week ago.
Public schools have remained paralysed.
