USCRI & the Governments of Guatemala & Honduras Reaffirm Collaboration to Help Migrant Children

USCRI is proud to announce that on February 10, 2016 it signed a second memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Guatemalan Ministry of External Relations and on January 20, 2016 with the Honduran Ministry of External Relations and International Cooperation.

These MOUs, along with two signed in April of 2015 with the Salvadoran Ministry of External Relations and the Institute for Children and Families, reaffirm USCRI’s continued collaboration with the Northern Triangle governments, to provide comprehensive repatriation services, expand access to pro-bono legal services for unaccompanied children in the U.S. and provide technical assistance to consulate officials on U.S. immigration law and refugee matters.

USCRI has long history of providing services to unaccompanied immigrant children from Central America in the U.S. and is honored to continue its work with all three governments. Click here to learn more about the work of our office in Central America.
