Guatemala (Update)

On 30 June 2023, the Guatemala National Coordinator for Disaster Reduction (CONRED per its acronym in Spanish) published an update on the rainy season in the country. There have been 211 severe rain weather incidents reported (17 increase since the 28 June report). There were at least 427,115 people affected (2,736 increase), 3,384 people were attended to (172 increase), 7,917 people are categorized as at risk (23 increase), and 1,521 people were evacuated (16 increase). In addition, 609 houses were moderately damaged (2 increase), 34 severely damaged (1 increase), and 10 schools were affected. The report is available from: CONRED
