Informative Bulletin No. 085-2023
The CONRED Response Directorate issued Report No. 155 on Thursday, July 20, detailing that 851,276 people have been affected by the heavy rains and winds registered in the national territory.
Regarding the statistics of people, 94 have been sheltered, 1,300 affected, 3,078 people have been evacuated, 7,405 have been treated and 8,668 are at risk.
In relation to damage to homes and public infrastructure, the following is reported:
341 incidents.
299 homes at risk.
6 bridges affected.
1,142 homes with moderate damage.
110 roads affected.
Likewise, the highest accumulated rainfall recorded in the last 24 hours was reported, which took place in:
Seafood, Izabal.
Fire volcano, Chimaltenango.
Chachaclun, Peten.
Santa Maria Cahabon, Alta Verapaz.
Morales, Izabal.
Poptun, Peten.
