Since the second half of January 2025, an increasing number of individuals passing through the FMPs have been embarking on the journey back south. In March 2025, 2,872 movements were observed at the 5 Flow Monitoring Points (FMPs) located in key transit migration areas across the country (an average of 221 daily movements*). According to the Flow Monitoring Survey (FMS), which surveyed 140 individuals, 66 per cent travel in groups (ranging from 2 to 10 individuals). Since October 2024, the flows have shown an average monthly reduction of 26 per cent.
