At the function, many Government officials, statutory bodies, non-governmental organizations and other groups and individuals with whom the UNDP had partnered during the last nine months, took the opportunity to pay tribute to the UNDP for all that was accomplished through them since the passage of hurricane Ivan.

Since the passage of hurricane Ivan, the UNDP has been responsible for donor coordination in Grenada. With the scaling down of the UNDP operations, the Agency for Reconstruction and Development (ARD) is now responsible for donor coordination in the reconstruction of Grenada psot hurricane Ivan.
