Food For The Poor, the largest relief organization operating in the Caribbean, is rushing assistance to the latest victims of Hurricane Emily in the island of Grenada. The most urgent need is for housing repair supplies, mainly lumber and zinc. Contributions are requested to support this effort.
As Emily continues its westward path, Food For The Poor Jamaica is preparing to mount an immediate relief effort. The warehouse in Spanish Town is stocked with supplies of food, medicine and emergency relief items, and the staff is preparing to mobilize relief teams.
