The NGO of the Church of Greece sends foodstuff to Georgia for humanitarian purposes

The non-governmental organization Solidarity of the Church of Greece sent 300 tons of foodstuffs (macaroni) to Georgia for humanitarian purposes, through the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia. The Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Labour, Public Health and Social Protection and the Ministry of Education and Science will distribute this humanitarian aid among the socially vulnerable groups and the population affected by floods.

The ceremony for the handover of humanitarian aid will be held at the Tbilisi Old People Boarding House 'Savane' (Address: Temka, 11th micro district, II quarter), on July 15, at 16.00. The ceremony will be attended by Mr. Konstantine Kavtaradze, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Nikoloz Pruidze, Deputy Minister of Labour, Public Health and Social Protection and Mrs. Bela Tsipuria, Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Mr. Dimitrios Tranos, Acting Ambassador of the Republic of Greece to Georgia, Mr. Dimitrios Forlemadis, Director-General of the non-governmental organization Solidarity.
