Issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre Nadi at 3:30pm on Thursday the 12th of April 2012

Situation:
A trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain to the west of Fiji is gradually moving eastward and is expected to affect the group from later tomorrow.
Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group: Cloudy periods with some showers over Kadavu, the interior and eastern parts of the larger islands. Elsewhere, fine apart from afternoon or evening showers. Isolated thunderstorms with heavy falls in the afternoon or evening especially over the interior and western parts of the main islands. Rain developing from the west and gradually spreading elsewhere from later tomorrow.
Moderate northeast winds.
Moderate seas.
