List of the status of schools in Fiji

In the aftermath of Tropical Cyclone Winston, Government is working hard to get our students back in the classroom. Schools are scheduled to re-open Monday, 29 February 2016 so that our students can resume their studies.

Some schools have sustained severe damage making them unsafe for our teachers and students.

All parents should make alternative arrangements for their children if their schools are not re-opening. For safety reasons, it is important that your children remain under adult supervision during the day.

The Ministry of Education will supply regular updates on the progress of schools under repair and is exploring temporary solutions for affected areas.
