I. HIGHLIGHTs/key priorities

Flooding continues after more rain fell in the wake of TC Daphne, but water levels are now steadily receding from flood affected areas.

The Government of Fiji has declared a State of Natural Disaster for parts of the Western Division, populated by approximately 190,000 people.

Access to basic services, food and assistance remains a problem with large areas, roads and bridges still under water or washed away and water and electricity supply damaged.

A list of requested items has been submitted by the Government of Fiji to donor agencies based in country, including health, WASH, non-food items and aerial surveillance.
