Fast food outlet, Pizza King & Wishbone is the latest donor to the Prime Minister’s flood appeal account.
Receiving the donation of $20,000 on behalf of government, the permanent secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office, Mr Pio Tikoduadua said that government was appreciative of companies coming forward to assist them in rehabilitation.
Pizza King & Wishbone director Mr Ravindra Nath said that the company has been also active in charitable work and assisting other organisations such as Red Cross, Fiji Society for the Blind and sporting bodies.
“We are hopeful that the donation we have given this morning will be of assistance to the flood victims,” Nath said.
The fast food outlet has been operating in Fiji for over 25 years and has 7 outlets in Viti Levu.
