Town digging 3 water wells

Dilla March 17/2013 Digging of three water wells is underway in Dilla Town, South Ethiopia Peoples' State at a cost of over six million Birr, the town water service office said. Office Head, Tsegaye Bogale told ENA over the weekend that the water wells are being dug in collaboration with the town administration, the Gedeo Zone and the regional water service bureau. Tsegaye said installation of 3km water pipelines will be carried out as part of the efforts to curb safe water shortage in the town. Over 7000 cubic meters water is required to curb safe water shortage in the town. The water wells will help to increase the amount to 5000 cubic meters from the present 2000 cubic meters water. A total of over 125 million Birr is required to curb safe water shortage in the town.
