Premier Expresses Sorrow over Death of Ethiopian Migrants

Addis Ababa April 21/2015 Prime Minister Hailemariam Dessalegn expressed yesterday his deep sorrow over the death of Ethiopian nationals killed by the terrorist group IS in Libya.

"We should fight together the terrorists who intend to destroy the world wearing religious mask," he urged.

The premier also expressed his condolences to families of the victims.

The government is striving hard to bring back all Ethiopian nationals living in difficult situations in various countries, Hailemariam stated.

Strongly condemning the brutal killing of innocent Ethiopians, the PM called on all Ethiopians to fight terrorism in unison.

According to the premier, the government has also been making efforts to stop the xenophobic attacks targeting citizens of different African countries, including Ethiopians, in South Africa.

Hailemariam urged Ethiopians who plan to travel to countries in trouble to refrain from doing so and make use of the various opportunities, including jobs, created in the country.
