Over 28 mln. Birr worth hospital under construction

Gimbi June 11/2013 Construction of a primary level hospital is launched in Nolekaba Woreda, Bube Town of West Wollega Zone in Oromia State with over 28.7 million Birr, the zonal health office said. Project Engineer with the Office, Eng. Mohammed Hussein said the hospital being constructed with the budget allocated by the regional government will enable to achieve the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) in the health sector. He said the 16 block hospital will have emergency, surgical, mothers' and children's wards, among others. Eng. Mohammed said the hospital, expected to go operational after 20 months, will benefit more than 200,000 people.
