• 95 per cent of the South Sudanese refugees in Gambella are women and children (70 per cent children). This calls for an increase in protection interventions among other specialized assistance targeting these groups.

• The humanitarian community is concerned over the delays in relief food distribution and TSF intervention, and the likely impact on the nutrition situation in pocket areas.

• Four additional water trucks deployed in Amhara (2 trucks) and Oromia (2 trucks) regions brought the number of water trucks operating in the country to 30, leaving a gap of 19 trucks
