- Construction of safe water project will be launched in Debretabor Town, South Gondar Zone of Amhara regional state at a cost of 68 million Birr, town administration said.
Deputy town mayor, Bishaw Shimelis told ENA on Monday that the project includes, among others, digging of three water wells, installation of water pipelines and construction of additional water distribution centers.
Bishaw said more than 35,000 people will benefit from the project.
The regional government allocated the fund for construction of the project, which will be launched in the near future, he said.
