Access to Northern Ethiopia continued to improve in June, as partners continued to send supplies to Tigray using the majority corridor Semera (98.1 %), Kombolcha corridor (1.6 %), and the rest 0.3 % for Gondar. However, the Gondar-Shire corridor has still faced unpredictable security concerns.

In the last month, the government announced the lifting of support letters to transport humanitarian health items. However, Support Letters from the Information Network Security Agency (INSA) are still required to transport IT equipment to Tigray.

The Logistics Cluster is operating as a last resort in Northern Ethiopia in June, focusing on areas where commercial transporters are still reluctant to venture into or where there are access constraints due to the improvement in the security situation.

The number of arrival reports for partner trucks increased from 30 in May to 51 in June. Although this is the lowest increase compared to previous months, it is still a significant increase.

In the month of June, the Logistics Cluster continued its efforts on building up partner capacity through training. One training course was facilitated on Warehouse Management Training in Shire.

In June, a total of 7 Logistics Cluster coordination meetings were held in Addis Ababa, Mekelle, Bahir Dar, andShire in which 42 partners participated.

The Logistics Cluster published three Information Management products in June 2023 including the meeting minutes and operation overview for the month of June.

In the month of June, The Logistics Cluster also finalized the update of the Logistics Capacity Assessment(LCA),pending final review and clearance.
