The Emergency Nutrition Coordination Unit (ENUC)/Nutrition cluster partners, reached 2.73 million malnourished children and women, this represents 80% of the 2024 Humanitarian Response Plan (HRP) target. Nutrition partners secure 72% (US$198 million) of the HRP funding requirements of US$276 million.
Hotspot Woreda Classification in 2024 (January - December)
A hotspot woreda classification was conducted and endorsed in January 2024. Accordingly, 603 woredas were identified as hotspot priorities, of these 214 woredas were classified as priority 1 (very sever area of concern), 309 woredas as priority 2 (sever area of concern), and 80 as priority 3 (moderate area of concern).
