Ethiopia: Japan provides two ambulances in donation to ERCS

Addis Ababa, December 11, 2009 (Addis Ababa) - Embassy of Japan in Ethiopia here on Thursday provided two ambulances worth 63,035 USD in donation to the Ethiopian Red Cross Society (ERCS).

According to a statement the embassy sent to ENA, the donation is part of Japan's support to ERCS.

It said objective of the donation is to improve access to emergency medical services.

The embassy, cooperating with ERCS, will make more ambulances available throughout Ethiopia and extend its effort to improve emergency medical services and thus help people, the statement said.
