This dashboard shows progress against the 2024 Humanitarian Response Plan (HRP) for Ethiopia, including at cluster-level. All information provided is cumulative since the start of 2024. In the first column, the humanitarian needs are presented, as identified in the 2024 Humanitarian Needs Overview (HNO), in addition to an overview of the funding received against the financial requirements outlined in the HRP. It is important to note that clusters started the year with some carry-over resources from 2023; these are not reported here. The second column provides an overview of people reached with humanitarian assistance, overall, by cluster, and by cluster activity. The dots on the map show the number of people reached at woreda (district) level; the larger the dot, the more people have been reached with humanitarian assistance in 2024 in that location.
The information in the last column shows where partners have been implementing humanitarian interventions. The dots on the map indicate the number of implementing partners (organizations which have been on the ground to physically implement response activities) by woreda; the larger the dot, the higher the number of organizations that have been implementing humanitarian activities in that woreda in 2024. Information on implementing partners and program partners (organizations which have coordinated and/or sub-contracted implementing partner activities) is included in each cluster section.
The response information presented in the second and third columns reflects the reporting of activities implemented by humanitarian partners through the ActivityInfo response monitoring system. Clusters have had the opportunity to verify these reports. Efforts are continuing to ensure that all humanitarian partners who are implementing response under the 2024 HRP are reporting through this response monitoring system. At the top of each cluster section, a link is provided to more detailed sectoral analysis developed by the respective clusters.
