Attachments

In August - September 2025, IOM deployed the Household Needs Assessment (HNA) round 1 with Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) households across Ethiopia. The objective of the HNA is to provide high quality, relevant, multisectoral data on IDP household needs to support partners in designing context-specific, prioritized response to those most in need. More information on the methodology and coverage can be accessed HERE.

This snapshot report will present key multisectoral findings for IDP households sampled in Contested Area Two [Mai T(s)ebri and surroundings] and Contested Area Three [Alamata and surroundings]. Please note that:

  • Access constraints impacted coverage and representation in out-of-camp settings in Contested Area Three. In-camp settings in the zone were not assessed due to insecurity.
  • Contested Area One [Humera and surroundings] was not accessible to data collection.
