HIGHLIGHTS

During the period under review, 376K people were reached, bringing the cumulative number of people reached to 1.28Million, throughout 290 of 1,150 woredas in 78 zones. This encompasses 213K internally displaced individuals (IDPs), 56K returning IDPs, 1M non-IDPs, and 16K returning migrants, all of whom used response supported by 35 Health Cluster partners across the country.

• Health Cluster partners supported 234 active mobile health and nutrition teams, enabling them to successfully deliver essential primary health services, consultations, and treatments, reaching 297K individuals across the affected areas in the country in the reporting month.

• From Jan – Mar 2025, a total of 2,468 measles cases and 12 deaths, with a case fatality rate (CFR) of 0.49% were reported.

• As of March 2025, the country has reported a total of 1,459,319 Malaria cases and 63 deaths.

• WHO has provided 88.13 MT emergency medical kits to various health facilities as well as 234 MHTs across the country.
