5 YEARS supporting humanitarian response operations 2020 - 2025
Activated in April 2020, the Logistics Cluster co-led by the Ethiopia Disaster Risk Management Commission (EDRMC) and WFP has supported humanitarian operations from COVID-19 response to conflict in northern Ethiopia (Tigray, Amhara), and recurring climate shocks. It has helped partners overcome access challenges and provided a platform for partners to address systemic logistics gaps, including customs clearance and import bottlenecks, to ensure timely aid delivery to vulnerable and hard-to-reach communities.
