Dessie, January 5, 2010 (Dessie) - Some 15 potable water facilities constructed in Legambo Woreda, South Wollo Zone of Amhara State at a cost of three million birr have gone operational, woreda's government communication office said.
Office head, Fisseha Zewdu told ENA on Monday that the water facilities constructed by the Organization for Rehabilitation and Development of Amhara (ORDA) would benefit 30,000 people.
He said ORDA has budgeted 1.7 million Birr while residents of the woreda covered the balance for construction of the facilities.
