Within the framework of the constant cooperation between Egypt and the African brotherly countries and enhancing and increasing the brotherly cooperation ties between the African peoples, the Egyptian Fund for Technical Cooperation with Africa, in coordination with the Egyptian Ministry of Health, dispatched a medical convoy to Ethiopia. The Egyptian embassy in Addis Ababa reported the media coverage on the ninth Egyptian medical convoy's activity as it forwarded a press release in English and Arabic to the Ethiopian media and the Ethiopian television outlined that the convoy reached Addis Ababa and the cities of Ndho and Ciro, stating the various specializations of doctors. The radio also broadcasted a dialogue with Dr. Wael Al-Halawani, the doctor in charge of the convoys, in which he explained their activities. The Ethiopian television covered the Ambassador's visit to Ras Desta hospital in Addis Ababa to see the convoy's activities and the services provided to Ethiopians. TV interviews were held with the Ambassador, Dr. Wael Al-Halawani, some Egyptian and Ethiopian doctors, and some patients treated by members of the Egyptian medical convoy.
