Executive Summary
This document outlines the Ethiopia Humanitarian Fund’s (EHF) strategy for advancing localization. It was written against a backdrop of exceptional change in the humanitarian system globally and is grounded in the specific localization landscape in Ethiopia. It outlines concrete actions that are within the scope of the EHF but which also support the wider humanitarian community and the Government to advance a locally-led response. The EHF adopts a holistic approach to localization structured around six strategic focus areas, which are mutually reinforcing and outlined below.
