West Shoa Zone, January 12, 2012 (Ambo) - Eleven irrigation development projects are being constructed in West Shoa Zone of Oromia State with over 38 million Birr, the zonal water, mines and energy office said.
The office told ENA that the projects are being constructed in collaboration with the government, NGOs and the public.
It said the projects will have capacity to develop over 689 hectares land.
More than 2000 households will benefit from the projects scheduled to be completed in June 2012, the office said.
