Provision of potable water in Dura Lailai ensured

Gogne, 13 March 2012 - The inhabitants of Dura Lailai, Tawda Administrative area of Gogne sub-zone, expressed satisfaction with the provision of potable water functioning with solar energy.

They told ERINA that before the implementation of the project they were facing shortage of water that was not even up to standard, but now with the construction of a distribution point the problem is no more.

Among the inhabitants, Mr. Idris Ibrahim, appreciated the tremendous efforts made by the Government to solve the problem of potable water supply. Ms. Kaltum Osman said on her part that the project is playing vital role and gave assurance that judicious use would be made of the facility.

Mr. Tsegai Tekle, head of the project, explained that with the provision of potable water, the problem of the nationals has been solved and that they will make efforts to solve similar problems in the area.

According to the documents of the sub-zone, there exist 16 water distribution points in Gogne.
