Flooding in Ecuador: The rainy season in Ecuador has reportedly affected 2,027 families and 684 people are in shelters; 12 deaths have occurred. In the majority of events, flash floods caused by heavy rains descend rapidly in the following hours. It is also recorded that landslides have damaged houses. An orange alert has been in effect for the provinces of Manabi, Guayas, Esmeraldas, and Santa Elena.
