Dominican Republic

On 10 July 2018, the Dominican Republic Emergency Operations Center (COE) reported a red alert for the Provinces of San Cristobal, El Gran Santo Domingo, and San Jose de Ocoa and a yellow alert for ten provinces due to overflow of rivers, floods, and landslides. Currently, 104 people were moved to family member homes, 50 homes were affected, two were destroyed, and two communities were isolated as result of the heavy rains caused by Tropical Storm Beryl. Tropical Storm Chris

Atlantic - Caribbean Sea - Gulf of Mexico (alert)

On 10 July 2018, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NOAA) reported that Tropical Storm Chris is moving northeastward and is expected to become hurricane later today. The U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) reported swells generated by Tropical Storm Chris are expected to increase and affect portions of the coasts of North Carolina and Mid-Atlantic states of the United States during the next few days. Honduras (alert)

On 9 July 2018, media reported more than 500 families live on a geological fault covering the municipalities of La Paz, Ajuterique, and Lejamaní, Comayagua City, Honduras and four communities are under threat due to lagoons forming on top of the mountains.
