On 6 April 2018, the Dominican Republic Emergency Operations Center (COE) declared a red alert for La Vega Province and a yellow alert for Monseñor Nouel, Espaillat, and Santiago provinces due to severe rain and floods. Peru

On 4 April 2018, the Peru National Meteorology and Hydrology Service (Senamhi) reported heavy rain in the Chulucanas, Morropón, and Salitral districts, Piura Region. Media reported the storm affected road networks, caused landslides, and isolated villages in the Morropón, Ayabaca, and Huancabamba provinces.
