IOM continues to assist vulnerable migrants in the Migration Response Centre (MRC) in Obock, where they receive food, non-food items (NFI), medical and psychosocial assistance.

Migrants arriving from Yemen also receive lifesaving assistance such as water through IOM’s mobile unit in Obock region. At the Masagara site, IOM provided migrants with food and hygiene and NFI kits.

With funding from the United Nations Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF), IOM organized a training on the vulnerabilities of migrants.

NFI kits were distributed to vulnerable migrants and host population in Ali Sabieh, Arta, Dikhil, Obock and Tadjourah regions. Distribution is planned for Djibouti city.

IOM continues to raise awareness of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) through its flow monitoring points (FMPs) across the regions.
