The Egyptian Embassy in Djibouti presented Egyptian assistance to the Djibouti Government of 120 tons of corn flour and 3500 canned food boxes and 20 greenhouses to help Djibouti face the impacts of the 2011 severe drought that hit the country.
Egypt had sent medical assistance to Djibouti including 500 parcels of different medicines weighed five and a half tons in December 2011.
Ambassador Khaled Taha stated that Egypt is keen to present all possible support to the brothers in Djibouti as it appreciates the sincere brotherly friendship feeling which the Djibouti people show to Egypt and Egyptians in particular.
