UN Agencies in Djibouti discussed impact of funding cuts on health. On 13 April all UN agencies operating in Djibouti met to discuss the way forward as impact of funding cuts is getting severe on the health of vulnerable communities. Agencies such as UNICEF and the WFP, which in Djibouti are involved in refugee health, nutrition and immunization, have announced that the reduction in their budgets will have serious consequences for the vulnerable host and refugee population. UN agencies are closely monitoring the situation and working in collaboration with the ministry to avoid such scenario. All agencies agreed to work together in finding other possible solutions.
