UNHCR operational highlights

• From 16 to 17 August 2013, a joint Government and UNHCR delegation visited refugees from the Central African Republic in Mole camp. Subsequently refugees received food rations for one month.

• There continues to be a steady flow of civilians from the Central African Republic crossing the border in the North and South Ubangi regions of the Equateur Province. UNHCR pre-registered 41,500 individuals from CAR in the Equateur and Oriental Province since March 2013, including some 1,000 new arrivals last week of August. UNHCR has already relocated 11,524 people to 4 camps Mboti (Oriental Province), Mole, Inke and Boyabu (Equatorial Provinces).
