UNHCR operational highlights
• UNHCR High Commissioner Antonio Guterres visited DRC from 11 to 13 April. The High Commissioner met on the day after his arrival some of the thousands of Central Africans refugees who have fled to the DRC’s locality of Zongo in Equateur Province.
The High Commissioner said that the primary objective of his mission to the country was to draw the attention of the international community to the plight of refugees from the Central African Republic and to express his solidarity with these populations who are living in difficult conditions.
