A second Radio Okapi journalist from the town of Bukavu has been killed in the most cowardly way within the space of less than a year. Didace Namujimbo was murdered on the evening of 21st november 2008 as he returned to his home.
The State Prosecutor has already begun an investigation and all relevant sections of MONUC will offer him their support and help. MONUC strongly condemns this foul act. MONUC calls on the authorities to spare no effort in bringing the author or authors to justice.

The murder of Didace Namujimbo follows that of Serge Maheshe, a Radio Okapi News Editor, on the 13th of June 2007. Didace leaves a widow and two children.
