Kinshasa, 19 May 2014 (caritasdev.cd): Twelve water sources are under construction in 12 communities through a humanitarian assistance project implemented by the diocesan Caritas in the Diocese of Wamba, located in the north-east Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
This project is intended for humanitarian assistance to IDPs, returnees and hosting families affected by the conflicts in the territory of Mambasa, Ituri in Province Orientale . It has a period of one year from November 2013 to October of this year 2014. The project provided two distributions of food and agricultural inputs to 732 people. He also presented hoes, rakes, watering cans, peanuts, amaranth and beans to 253 households. - Beneficiaries satisfied with first action of this kind
The beneficiaries are very happy with the assistance provided by the Caritas Wamba by the channel of this project, especially as it is a first action of its kind in the community. The project has rejected any social discrimination. All layers are represented among the beneficiaries. The action, however, often late, and the victims are getting impatient. - Collaboration on ground
