Democratic Republic of the Congo: Internally displaced persons and returnees, February 2024

Since the beginning of 2024, nearly 358,000 people have been displaced in the DRC, bringing the total number if IDP around 7.1 million. Women are 51% of the displaced population. More than 80% of displacement is caused by armed conflict. North Kivu and Ituri are the provinces that have seen more IDP returns in the last three months.
