HIGHLIGHTS

• The UN Security Council extended the mandate of the UN Organization Stabilization Mission in DRC (MONUSCO) for 12 months on March 26.

• The number of displacements in North Kivu Province recently surpassed 1 million; however, recent displacements are likely temporary, as residents are returning to areas of origin as fighting moves across the region.

• USAID/OFDA partner Medair provides additional support to three health care facilities in North Kivu’s Beni Territory.
