DPR Korea: Seoul to spend $13 million in aid for N. Korean children
Korea has earmarked about $13 million in
contributions to international aid agencies destined for North Korean children,
a top Unification Ministry official said Thursday (April 26).
"To help North Korean infants and children, We will donate $9.38 million to the World Health Organization, $3.15 million to the United Nations Children's Fund and $500,000 to the International Vaccine Institute," Vice Unification Minister Shin Un-sang said in a press briefing.
