Visiting the flood-hit areas of the eastern Vukovar-Srijem County for a second time on Saturday, Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic said in Cerna that the government would provide new houses to all people whose property had been flooded and that it should be established who was responsible for residents of the flooded areas not having been evacuated sooner.
Accompanied by Minister of the Interior Ranko Ostojic and Economy Minister Ivan Vrdoljak, Milanovic visited in Cerna residents of Racinovci, Rajevo Selo and Gunja, who had to leave their houses earlier in the day when the Sava River broke the embankment near their settlements. They were given temporary accommodation in a school in Cerna.
