This report presents key findings from November 2025 on irregular migration through Costa Rica, examining both the South–North movement and the North–South flow, driven by the pursuit of better living conditions, employment opportunities, and security. In Costa Rica, these dynamics are reflected in individuals stranded while seeking resources to continue their journey and access basic services, placing pressure on local systems and highlighting the need for coordinated and sustainable responses.
