The disaster left six people dead and 53 injured. The greatest needs among the affected population are for clean drinking water, hygiene kits, kitchen equipment and jerry cans. The floods and landslides have caused significant damage to agricultural land, roads and water pipelines. In Costa Rica, an estimated 25,000 homes have been damaged.
