The Regional Humanitarian Fund for Latin America and the Caribbean (RHPF LAC) with a the country envelope for Colombia, known as the Humanitarian Fund in Colombia, was created in 2024. It address the humanitarian situation by providing life-saving assistance, with a secondary focus on localization which, in the context of Colombia, is connected to the Flagship Initiative.

This Factsheet refers to the first Reserve Allocation, launched in October 2024, which supports selected partners with US$1.3 million, focusing on two priorities: Local rapid response mechanisms and Humanitarian responses that enhance community resilience.

This reserve allocation complements the previous standard allocation, launched in September 2024 (see separate Factsheet).
